    <p>Nathan MacKinnon and Andre Burakovsky had a goal and an assist each, Brandon Saad, J.T.
    Compher and Gabriel Landeskog also scored, and the Colorado Avalanche beat the Minnesota Wild 5-4 in Saint Paul, Minn., on Monday night.</p> <p>Philipp Grubauer stopped 21 shots and Samuel Girard had two assists for the Avalanche, who extended their points streak to 15 games (13-0-2).</p> <p>Ryan Hartman had a goal and two assists, Nick Bjugstad and Marcus Johansson had a goal and an assist each, Kevin Fiala also scored and Cam Talbot made 31 saves for the Wild.

    Minnesota had its 11-game home winning streak snapped.</p> <p>The Wild took a 1-0 lead when Hartman beat Grubauer for his fifth goal of the season at 8:40 of the first period.</p> <p>MacKinnon tied it with his 14th goal when he skated up the middle, got a pass from Girard as he broke past the defense and beat Talbot 18 seconds into the second period.</p> <p>Just 1:11 later Talbot tried to glove Girard’s shot but couldn’t control it, and Burakovsky backhanded the rebound in for his 10th of the season.</p> <p>Saad made it 3-1 when he knocked down Jared Spurgeon in front of the net and tapped in Burakovsky’s rebound at 15:48, his 12th of the season.</p> <p>Compher completed the second-period rally when he deflected Cale Makar’s shot past Talbot at 17:52 to make it 4-1.

    It was Compher’s fifth of the season.</p> <p>Minnesota got one back early in the third when Hartman sent the puck across to Bjugstad, who one-timed it into a wide-open net at 3:35. It was his sixth goal of the season.</p> <p>Landeskog answered with a power-play goal at 7:22, his 15th of the season. The Wild got it right back when Johansson’s shot to the crease hit off the skate – onesport.ir – of Avalanche defenseman Devon Toews and into the net to make it 5-3 at 9:44.

    It was his fifth of the season.</p> <p>Fiala cut it to one when he scored on a 6-on-4 power play with 34.7 seconds left, his 11th of the season. Talbot stayed out of the net, but Minnesota couldn’t get the equalizer.</p> <p>–Field Level Media</p></div>
